Join a hands-on stream restoration project in Papakura. You'll plant native trees along the stream banks, remove invasive weeds, and help install erosion control measures.

All tools, gloves, and training provided. Wear sturdy footwear and clothes you don't mind getting muddy. Morning tea and lunch provided.

This project is part of a long-term effort to restore urban waterways in South Auckland. Native fish and bird species are already returning to restored sections.
