Fill the Bucket Street Appeal Collector

SPCA's national street appeal is back on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026, and collectors are needed at sites across the country. Shifts are two hours long, and you're welcome to team up with friends, family or workmates – even your dog is welcome to join you on the street.

Collectors are given stickers, a bib, a bucket and everything else needed for the shift; just bring weather-appropriate clothing and, if you like, a folding chair. Area Coordinator roles are also available for those keen to help set up and run a collection site.

Money raised helps SPCA centres around New Zealand care for and rehome animals in need. Choose your region and site when you register online.
