When
Ongoing
Christchurch Riding for the Disabled runs riding sessions that help people with disabilities build confidence and skills around horses, and volunteers are needed to help those sessions run smoothly during the week.
You don't need horse experience – training is provided, including a free three-hour introductory workshop for new volunteers. Sessions run Monday to Friday during the school term at the Canterbury Agricultural Park in Wigram.
Volunteers must be 16 or over and complete a police check before starting. Get in touch with the volunteer coordinators through the website to find out more.
