Red Shield Appeal — Street Collection 2026

Join thousands of volunteers across New Zealand for the Salvation Army's annual Red Shield Appeal. This is one of the country's largest and most recognised street appeals, running for a full week.

Volunteers collect donations at assigned locations in their local area. A typical shift runs for 2-3 hours. All materials provided — just turn up in comfortable shoes with a friendly attitude.
