RSA New Zealand

Location

Collection sites across New Zealand

When

24 April 2026 — 24 April 2026

Volunteer for Poppy Day — one of New Zealand's oldest and most recognised street appeals. Sell poppies and collect donations in the lead-up to Anzac Day to support returned service personnel and their families.

Poppy Day is typically held on the Friday before Anzac Day weekend. Volunteers of all ages are welcome — it's a particularly popular activity for school groups and community organisations.

Shifts are flexible, usually 2-3 hours. The RSA provides everything you need: poppies, collection buckets, and a briefing.

Note: The exact 2026 date is yet to be confirmed. The date shown is an estimate based on previous years.
