Visit families who need extra support during the early years of parenting. You'll provide companionship, help with household tasks, and give parents a chance to take a break.

Each family is visited once a week for six weeks, with possible extension. Visits are typically 1–2 hours. Full training and ongoing support provided by Plunket's volunteer coordinator.

This role suits people with empathy, patience, and reliability. Police vetting is compulsory as you'll be in family homes with young children.
