Volunteer on predator-free Kāpiti Island, one of Aotearoa's most important nature sanctuaries. Work alongside DOC rangers on conservation tasks including pest monitoring, track maintenance, and species surveys.

Placements run during summer (October to April) for up to one week. The island is home to little spotted kiwi, kākā, kōkako, and many other native species.

Moderate to high fitness required for island terrain. DOC arranges boat transport and provides accommodation.
