DOC is looking for volunteers to help protect vulnerable seabirds and their habitat around Maunga Karioi, near Raglan. Options include joining working bees, adopting a trapline to check regularly, or helping manage bait stations to control predators.
There are also support roles with no direct wildlife contact, including helping with education programmes, garden maintenance and animal care, for those who'd rather work behind the scenes.
