Daffodil Day — Street Appeal 2026

Cancer Society of New Zealand

Location

Nationwide

Collection sites across New Zealand

When

28 August 2026 — 30 August 2026

Volunteer for Daffodil Day — the Cancer Society's biggest annual fundraiser. Sell daffodils and collect donations at sites across New Zealand to support cancer research, education, and patient support services.

Shifts are typically 2-3 hours. The Cancer Society provides everything you need: flowers, buckets, vests, and a briefing pack. Many locations offer morning and afternoon shifts so you can choose what suits you.

Daffodil Day has been a New Zealand tradition for over 30 years. It's one of the most visible and well-loved street appeals in the country.

Great for individuals, school groups, and corporate teams.
