Visiting Service Volunteer – Auckland

Age Concern Auckland's Social Connections Service matches volunteers with older people who'd welcome more company, for a weekly visit of about an hour. It's a simple, steady way to reduce loneliness and build a genuine friendship.

Full training and ongoing support are provided, and there's flexibility in when and how visits happen. Volunteers with Asian language skills are also sought to support older people from Asian communities, including through conversational English.
